In our online shop you can order Maren Jewellery products as a guest or registered customer. The so-called „Captchas“ are a security function of our website, which determines whether a person or a computer enters a certain input. Maren Jewellery uses the service „reCAPTCHA“ of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA („Google“) for this purpose.
Upon visiting a page with input options, we transmit information about your access to the reCAPTCHA service. In particular, this service checks whether you are a person or a computer using the following information:
• IP address of your terminal device;
• the Referrer (address of the Maren Jewellery website where the captcha is used);
• information about the browser you are using (e.g. browser type and version, screen, resolution, language, installed plugins, time and date)
• provided you are registered and logged in to Google, your Google account;
• your surfing behavior on websites;
• your input behavior (e.g. your mouse movements on the reCAPTCHA areas);
• if applicable, your responses to small tasks that require you to identify images.
7. External service providers
Maren Jewellery uses various external services providers to operate this website (e.g. for the storage in data centers). To the extent it is necessary these service providers also process personal data. Maren Jewellery diligently selects and supervises its service providers. They process the data only in accordance with Maren Jewellery’s instructions and are also bound by this privacy statement.
8. Retention periods
Maren Jewellery stores personal data only as long as it is necessary for the purposes described herein, or as long as it is necessary to comply with statutory retention periods. Unless it is stated otherwise herein, the data you have entered in accordance with section 4.1 will be deleted at the latest after the expiry of any retention periods under commercial and tax law after 6 years.
If data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (data processing for the protection of legitimate interests based on a performed balancing of interests), you have the right to object to the processing under the conditions of Art. 21 GDPR.
