General Terms and Conditions of the Maren Jewellery Online Store
1. Contracting Parties and Applicability of the General Terms and Conditions
Your contracting party is Maren Jewellery, owner Helge Hauptmann, Söflinger Str. 250, 89077 Ulm, Tel.: +49-178-1890685, E-Mail: info@marenjewellery.com. Maren Jewellery operates the Maren Jewellery online shop at marenjewellery.com. These General Terms and Conditions apply exclusively to all purchases in the Maren Jewellery Online Store.

3. Conclusion of Contract
The offers in the Maren Jewellery Online Store constitute a non-binding invitation to order items. By placing an order for the items by clicking the "Buy Now" button, the customer makes a binding offer to purchase the items in the shopping cart. Maren Jewellery will promptly inform the customer of the receipt of the order by email and will also confirm the conclusion of the contract in the same email.

5. Delivery Times
The delivery time within Germany is 1-3 weeks depending on the piece of jewelry, for deliveries within the European Union, Switzerland, Norway and Great Britain four weeks and for deliveries to other countries five weeks from the conclusion of the contract.
6. Delivery and Shipping Costs
All items in an order will be shipped together.
We ship all our jewelry insured with UPS, Fedex, or DHL Express. Shipping is free and always insured via Express.
Any customs duties are the responsibility of the customer.
If the goods cannot be delivered for reasons attributable to the customer (e.g., due to an incorrectly provided delivery address), redelivery may incur delivery costs, which the customer must bear.
7. Prices and Invoice
The prices in the Maren Jewellery Online Store are quoted in euros and include the applicable statutory value-added tax. The invoice will be sent to you by email at the time of shipment of the goods.

8.1 Paypal
If you have chosen the payment method PayPal, you must be registered there or first register and authenticate yourself with your login details in order to pay the invoice amount. The payment transaction will be executed automatically by PayPal immediately after the payment instruction is confirmed.
8.2 Credit Card
If you have chosen the payment method credit card, your payment details will be requested immediately as part of your order. The payment transaction will be automatically executed by the respective payment service provider immediately after the payment instruction is confirmed.
8.3 Purchase on Account
If you have chosen the payment method invoice purchase, the payment will be due with our payment request in the contract conclusion confirmation email and must be settled by you within 10 (ten) days of receiving this email. We will inform you immediately by email upon receipt of the payment. If the payment is not made within the 10-day period, we are entitled to withdraw from the sale. In this case, we will inform you about the withdrawal and refund any late payments received.
8.5 Bank Transfer
If you have chosen the payment method bank transfer, your bank account details will be requested as part of your payment process. The payment transaction will be executed by your bank after the payment instruction has been confirmed.
9. Retention of title
The delivered goods remain our property until they have been fully paid for.
10. Right of Withdrawal

Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party appointed by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods.

by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail) informing us of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the attached Cancellation form use, which is not mandatory, however.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send the notification of exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.
Consequences of Withdrawal
If you revoke the contract, we will refund you all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we received the notification of your revocation of this contract. For this refund, we will use the same payment method you used in the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this refund.
We may refuse the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have sent the goods back, whichever is earlier.
You must return or hand over the goods to Maren Jewellery, Inh. Helge Hautpmann, Söflinger Str. 250, 89077 Ulm without delay and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of the withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the expiry of the fourteen-day period.
You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling that was not necessary for checking the condition, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

11. Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal
11.1 The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the delivery of goods that are not prefabricated and for the manufacture of which an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive or that are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer.
11.2 Examples of cases under clause 11.(1) include jewelry with engravings or custom-made jewelry, as these pieces are intended for final sale and have been individually crafted according to the customer's instructions.

13. Defects
The statutory warranty rights apply to the goods from Maren Jewellery.
14. Liability
In cases of statutory liability without fault (e.g., under warranty or the Product Liability Act), Maren Jewellery is liable without limitation, as well as for personal injuries (injury to life, body, health). Maren Jewellery is also fully liable for intent and gross negligence. In cases of slight negligence, Maren Jewellery is only liable for the breach of cardinal obligations. Cardinal obligations are those duties whose fulfillment makes the proper execution of the contract possible in the first place and on whose compliance you can regularly rely. However, in these cases, Maren Jewellery is not liable for indirect or unforeseeable damages, consequential damages, lost profits, or missed savings. Otherwise, Maren Jewellery's liability for slight negligence is excluded. This limitation of liability also applies to the legal representatives, employees, salaried staff, and vicarious agents of Maren Jewellery.
15. Contract text
The contract text is not saved for you by Maren Jewellery and is no longer accessible to you on the Maren Jewellery website after the contract is concluded. However, at the time of contract conclusion, you have the option to retrieve and save the contract terms, including these General Terms and Conditions.
16. Complaints
Maren Jewellery is neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board in accordance with the Consumer Dispute Resolution Act (VSGB). You can reach us by email at info@marenjewellery.com.
17. Final Provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Provisions that, according to the law of the country in which the customer has their habitual residence, may not be deviated from by agreement remain unaffected.
