Bettina: For me, Hamburg combines big city flair with a very special calmness. You can get married by the water, celebrate at a rooftop bar or in an old Speicherstadt venue, or even in an elegant villa on the Elbchaussee – and it always feels authentically "Hamburg".

Bettina: I especially love venues that offer a unique charm. Gems like the Sturmfreie Bude Alster, the Wasserschloss, or the Literaturhauscafé each have their own special magic. I always advise my couples individually, tailored to their style and budget.

Bettina: I really enjoy working with creative florists who not only arrange flowers but also create moods (for example, Himmel und Erde). When it comes to music, the range extends from solo artists, wonderful wedding speakers who musically accompany the ceremony and the champagne reception afterwards, to DJs who truly have a feel for the guests. Hamburg's catering scene is incredibly diverse – from classic to modern. I especially like to mention the sustainably operating Hobenköök, which uses only 100% regional products. What is particularly important to me is that the service providers are not only top professional but also a good personal fit for the couple.

Bettina: In Hamburg, there are great, also smaller boutiques (for example Nikis Braut Träume) that offer very personal advice. I also find the custom-made wedding dresses by Nathalie from Par Amour beautiful.

For the groom, a visit to tailors or menswear specialists like the renowned Hamburg institution Policke is worthwhile, which, in my opinion, offers the best advice in the city.

Bettina: I love it when couples incorporate their shared story into the wedding: whether it's a maritime detail because they met while sailing, or like I experienced just last weekend: it rained on all of the couple's first dates. So, at the end of the outdoor ceremony, we opened an umbrella from which, matching the color scheme, old rose blossoms floated down onto the two of them. These little gestures make a wedding unique and wonderfully emotional.

Bettina: At the moment, I am creating many elegant, rather minimalist concepts with clean lines. But Boho is still very popular. For me, however, the emotional component always remains timelessly beautiful: personal vows and genuine warmth – that touches the couple and the guests more than any trend.
