Design & Sustainability
The design of our bee pendant made from recycled 18 karat gold is dedicated to the project Heartbeat Honey by the Earthbeat Foundation. The project supports beekeeping and honey production as an additional source of income for people in gold-mining regions, creating an alternative to working in gold mines.
This story is also reflected in the design: one side of the pendant shows a bee, a heart, and a small lab-grown diamond; the other bears the words “World Gold Day”.
With every bee pendant sold, we support the Heartbeat Honey project with 50 €.
A piece of jewelry that carries the story of a special project and makes our connection to the Earthbeat Foundation visible.

Our World Gold Day Bees Charity Pendant Service for you!
Our promise to you!
World Gold Day Bee Charity Pendant is created like every Maren Jewellery piece of jewelry with great care, artisanal precision, and the aim of accompanying you for many years. Our We Mind approach combines carefully selected materials, a traceable supply chain, and meticulous handcrafted work, from the first design idea to the finished piece of jewelry.
Through projects like Heartbeat Honey, the Earthbeat Foundation helps people in gold-mining regions build alternative sources of income outside gold mining. This includes beekeeping, for example. At the same time, the foundation advocates for changes in how gold is handled and for a future with less newly mined gold. We support this work at Maren Jewellery: For every bee pendant sold, we donate €50 to the Earthbeat Foundation. In addition, we donate 3% of our annual profit to selected projects. Together with Earthbeat founder Guya, we were also featured in the ZDF documentary "plan b" in 2022.
You can pair our World Gold Day Bee Pendant with the simple Essential chain. It is made from 18 karat gold and handcrafted in Germany. With its delicate, understated design, it gives the Bee Pendant room to stand out and can also be worn on its own. Its clear design language reminds us of the connection between heaven and earth and of the calm of nature – like a gentle wind passing through the canopy of a forest.
Discover our Lovelines collection, where the forms of nature meet the symbolism of love and connection. Our jewelry designer Helge was inspired by the growth rings of ancient trees: lines in which time, growth, and change become visible. We carry this idea into the designs of the Lovelines jewelry pieces. Their lines can stand for shared experiences, special milestones, and all the stories that develop over time. A tribute to what grows, changes, and connects us to one another.

World Gold Day Bees Charity Pendant jewelry designer Helge Maren Hauptmann
For Helge Maren Hauptmann, jewelry is something deeply personal. It preserves memories, tells stories, and often stays with us for a lifetime. This mindset shapes every piece of jewelry from Maren Jewellery.
After studying jewelry design in Pforzheim and spending many years in the industry, the designer founded Maren Jewellery in 2020 to create jewelry guided by her own values: handcrafted and defined by a quiet luxury aesthetic. Recycled gold and lab-grown diamonds are used to create pieces that do not need to be loud to move you—for women who value design, quality, and responsibility.
