Asja: Right now I see the famous Champagne Tower at almost every wedding. It looks beautiful in photos of course – sparkling glasses, an elegant moment, the perfect picture. But honestly: in reality it's often more of a photo moment than a real experience. While the couple pours, we serve guests their champagne, there's a small toast – and that's usually it.
I'm looking forward to seeing new ideas soon! Maybe a Martini Tower or something completely different – something that really involves the guests, that's more interactive and piques their curiosity. Those little surprises create experiences people remember for a long time.
What I will always find beautiful – especially at Italian destination weddings – is the couple finishing the wedding cake together. We did that at our own wedding too, and it was simply lovely! The team put chef hats on us (picture me with perfect hair, dress and makeup – and then a chef hat! ) and we were allowed to finish the cake with cream, strawberries and sugar while our guests cheered, joked about who did it better, and of course drank their champagne.
This moment is still often mentioned by our guests – because it was so genuine, lively and full of joy. And that's exactly what will always remain timelessly beautiful to me: moments that are not only aesthetically perfect, but truly experienced.
