Our bee necklace made from recycled 18-karat gold is dedicated to the project Heartbeat Honey by the Earthbeat Foundation . The project supports beekeeping and honey production as an additional source of income for people in gold mining regions, creating an alternative to working in gold mines.
The design reflects this story: One side of the pendant shows a bee, a heart, and a small lab-grown diamond; the other bears the words “World Gold Day”.
With every bee pendant sold, we support the Heartbeat Honey project with 50 €.
A piece of jewelry that carries the story of a special project and makes our connection to the Earthbeat Foundation visible.

Our World Gold Day Bee Necklace Service for you!
Our promise to you!
World Gold Day bee necklace is created like every Maren Jewellery piece of jewelry with great care, artisanal precision, and the aim of accompanying you for many years. Our We Mind approach combines carefully selected materials, a traceable supply chain, and meticulous handcrafted work, from the first design idea to the finished piece of jewelry.
The Heartbeat Honey project is just one of the Earthbeat Foundation's many different projects and programs aimed at bringing positive change to the gold industry. Their main goal is to stop new gold mining. To this end, the foundation is working on various projects to offer people whose livelihood is mining work a new basis for life, such as beekeeping. As a jewelry manufacturer, positive change in the gold industry is important to us, which is why we support the Earthbeat Foundation with €50 per bee pendant sold and 3% of our annual profit. Together with the founder Guya we were also seen in the ZDF documentary Plan B in 2022.
And because sustainable change in the gold industry is so important to us, we decided from the outset to exclusively process recycled 18 carat gold. This means: no new damage to people and nature and a big step towards a circular economy. We take responsibility and combine luxury with holistic sustainability to create jewelry that always prioritizes the value of our earth.
To ensure that your World Gold Day bee necklace pendant and of course your other pieces of jewelry shine in their beautiful shine over the long term, we have designed a sustainable jewelry care set. With the cotton bag you always have everything you need for jewelry care at hand. Our jewelry care set also contains a solid dish soap and a bamboo brush for cleaning, a microfiber cloth for polishing your jewelry and care instructions on recycled paper that show you step by step how best to care for your jewelry.

World Gold Day Bee Necklace jewelry designer Helge Maren Hauptmann
For Helge Maren Hauptmann, jewelry is something deeply personal. It preserves memories, tells stories, and often stays with us for a lifetime. This mindset shapes every piece of jewelry from Maren Jewellery.
After studying jewelry design in Pforzheim and spending many years in the industry, the designer founded Maren Jewellery in 2020 to create jewelry guided by her own values: handcrafted and defined by a quiet luxury aesthetic. Recycled gold and lab-grown diamonds are used to create pieces that do not need to be loud to move you—for women who value design, quality, and responsibility.
