When selecting materials and creating our designs, we focus on using resources as responsibly as possible. For us, this not only means making no compromises when it comes to choosing our materials, but also designing in harmony with nature. And that means: minimalist
Minimalism - More than a trend
We do without everything that is superfluous.
Can minimalism be sustainable?
Our design is understated. With each of our pieces of jewelry, we focus on what exactly it is that we want to express. We leave out anything superfluous. This not only results in a clear, understated design language. It also helps us keep our resource consumption as low as possible. We pay close attention to how much gold, how much silver, and how many lab-grown diamonds we use — and where we can do without more. Our minimalist design approach focuses on the essentials and leaves everything else out.
Why do we design sustainably?
This is a question that goes straight to the heart. Because: Above all, we aredesigners. Each of our pieces of jewelery is infinitely important to us. It's like embarking on a journey together with a raw idea that you only get a picture of after the fact, when it's completed. Then you sit in front of all the sketches, experiments and notes and know: it was worth the work.
Our aim is to translate a thought into a piece of jewelry as precisely as possible. Sometimes it's not that easy. Sometimes you fear not being understood if you don't exaggerate. And so a squiggle follows a phrase and finally this overloaded ring lies in front of one who raises the question: Can this piece of jewelery even speak to me?
We want to forge jewelry that creates a resonance that resonates. And quite honestly: the sentences that we move again and again in our hearts do not have many words, are not complicated or artificial. You are honest. And that should also be our jewelry. Like a whisper. A breathy one: I love you. minimalism.
Minimalism as a lifestyle
Of course, minimalism goes far beyond the pure design theme. And as a lifestyle, it has just as many facets as life itself. From food to fashion, from furnishings to social media. There are traces of the minimal everywhere. We find: A return to the essentials can always be healing. And only you can determine in which areas of your life you need a little less.
learn minimalism
To be clear: Nobody has to be a minimalist. But we are convinced that it is worth looking into. That's why we want to recommend the book Stille: Ein Wegweiser by Erling Kagge. It contains many exciting suggestions as to how silence can be experienced in a new way.
