The design of classic engagement rings follows shapes that have long been associated with engagement and love. Designer Helge Maren draws on these forms and interprets them in her own reduced design language. These include solitaire rings, our trilogy ring and other engagement rings with lab-grown diamonds.
Each ring is designed by Helge Maren and crafted in Germany in collaboration with selected partner workshops. Careful workmanship, selected materials, and a clear design language create pieces of jewelry that can accompany you for many years.

After studying jewelry design in Pforzheim and spending many years in the industry, the designer founded Maren Jewellery in 2020 to create jewelry according to her own values: handcrafted and defined by a quiet luxury aesthetic. Using recycled gold and lab-grown diamonds, she creates pieces that do not need to be loud to make an impact—for women who value timeless design and a traceable origin of materials.

What tradition is passed on with classic engagement rings?
The history of classic engagement rings goes back to the 15th century. At the time, Archduke Maximilian of Austria gave his future wife Mary of Burgundy a diamond ring to express his love through the preciousness and uniqueness of the stone. Due to the rarity of diamonds at the time, such a gesture was reserved for only a few wealthy people until the 19th century. From the 19th century onward, the solitaire engagement ring grew increasingly popular as gemstone prices fell. The diamond-set ring could wonderfully symbolize eternal bond. Its circular shape stands for infinity without beginning or end. By being passed down within a family, it also represents continuity.
