There, we were able to present our work with recycled materials and our perspective on a more mindful approach to jewelry to a wider audience. Crafted from recycled gold and lab-grown diamonds, these are pieces that do not need to be loud to move you — for women who value timeless design and traceable material origins.

Green Friday is a counter-movement to Black Friday and focuses on a more conscious approach to consumption. While Black Friday is mainly known for discount promotions and high shopping volumes, initiatives around Green Friday address topics such as consuming less, using existing products for longer, repairing, buying secondhand, or shopping from local businesses.
When is Green Friday?
There is no globally standardized date for Green Friday. Many campaigns take place around Black Friday, which falls every year on the Friday after Thanksgiving in the United States. When and in what form a Green Friday takes place therefore depends on the respective initiative or participating company.
What is the difference between Green Friday and Black Friday?
Black Friday is characterized above all by extensive discount promotions in retail and is intended to encourage people to buy products. Green Friday focuses on something different: instead of buying as much as possible, the idea is to question your own consumption and, for example, buy only what is actually needed, use existing products for longer, have things repaired, or choose secondhand offers.
What can you do on Black Friday to avoid supporting mass consumption?
If you do not want to use Black Friday for additional purchases, there are various options: you can buy only things you actually need, support local businesses, choose secondhand or vintage, or repair and continue using existing products. Of course, you can also spend the day entirely without shopping and instead spend time with family and friends, devote yourself to a hobby, or support an organization that is close to your heart.
