Wear a reminder of love
There are experiences where you go in as one person and come out as another. You cross a threshold and everything is changed. In ethnology, these experiences are called rites of passage because they are usually associated with a ceremony. One passes into a new form of consciousness. One of the most impressive transitions a person can take is certainly marriage.
You say yes - and from then on you are no longer alone, but two. Yes. And home is no longer a place, but a person. Yes. And you dare to take the leap: I trust you, you and me - that's all I need.
To love is to become one
The Greek philosopher Plato found a very beautiful image for what happens when two people who are meant for each other have found each other: The spherical people. According to Plato, this is what people used to look like. They had four legs and rolled - or sphered - through the world. In ancient times, they dared to rebel against the gods of antiquity, whereupon Zeus, the father of the gods, felt compelled to divide them. Now each spherical man was two men, each with two legs. And, of course, the people thus divided suffered greatly from the separation. In their pain they embraced each other, hoping to become one again, to become whole again. This becoming one of the souls separated in the primeval time finds its completion in the marriage.
What a moment, what a miracle, when two people find each other. My ReMind collection is dedicated to this very moment. Before every wedding comes the engagement. Everyone knows that. And I don't think anyone approaches it easily. No one wants to leave to chance what happens. Everything, really everything is planned through. The Maren Jewellery engagement rings were designed with this in mind. Your most personal, most important moment.
Jewelry that is full of love
How do you work on a piece of jewelry that should bear the signature of love? You take your inspiration from a piece of jewelry that bears the signature of love. Helge's grandmother has passed on to her a necklace that she wears whenever she wants to feel her grandmother's warm love, kindness or unconditional trust. The pendant has a very special setting. Delicate arms hold a pearl. As free as only love can be held.
...as we do not even see ourselves
What piece of jewelry could be a more fitting model when it comes to forging a token of unwavering love? Because isn't that the definition of love: being seen by someone in a way we don't even see ourselves? The most beautiful, the most enchanting, the most unique self we can be. And held by the loving gaze of my loved ones, I begin to radiate. Just as the radiance of the synthetic Eco diamond is conditioned and accentuated by the delicate struts of its setting. It is exactly what an engagement ring should say: My love should make you shine, just as yours does with me.
ReMind - A reminder of what never fades
We create the jewelry in the ReMind collection from recycled 18 karat gold and set it with a pure synthetic eco diamond. If you're interested in where our gold comes from, check out our Urban Mining Journal. Here you can learn everything there is to know about our diamonds.
Our jewelry - as timeless as your love
An engagement ring should be designed to stand the test of time. It should fit you just as well today as it will in 25 or even 50 years. That's why Helge worked with simplicity: A ring as honest and bold as the first "I love you". As with all jewelry from Maren Jewellery, timelessness is in the foreground. And this also applies to the materials. By using the highest quality materials used in jewelry making, we ensure that our jewelry can accompany you for a lifetime.
